About the product

The FS-930 is a 30 µm fluorinated, unreinforced cation exchange membrane from Fumatech, designed for Vanadium Redox Flow Batteries and other electrochemical processes requiring high oxidative stability under acidic conditions.

Its very low area resistance of <0.1 Ω·cm² (in 0.5 M H₂SO₄) and outstanding proton selectivity of >99% make it one of the highest-performing membranes in the range for minimising ohmic losses. At 30 µm it is thinner than the FS-940, translating directly to lower cell resistance and higher power density. Dimensional swelling in water is kept below 10%, and the burst test >3 bar confirms reliable mechanical integrity under operating pressure.

The membrane is delivered dry in H⁺ form on a PET backing foil. Dry assembly is recommended; if additional cleaning is needed, rinse in DI water or the application solution before use.’
