About the product

The FAPQ-330 is a 30 µm partially fluorinated, unreinforced anion exchange membrane from Fumatech, designed for Vanadium Redox Flow Batteries (VRFB) where high power density is a priority. At just 30 µm — thinner than the FAP-450 — it delivers an even lower area resistance of <0.5 Ω·cm², making it well suited for high-current-density operation.

It offers high ion selectivity (>90%), good mechanical stability (tensile strength >35 MPa, elongation at break >200%), and a bubble point >3 bar confirming membrane integrity. Operating range is pH < 4 and room temperature up to 50°C.

The membrane is delivered dry on a PET backing foil and requires no pretreatment before use.

Main application area: Vanadium redox flow batteries (VRFB) and Organic redox flow batteries (ORFB)
